How to Change the Toner on an HP Laserjet 4250/4350
Large format laser printers such as HP Laserjet 4250 and 4350 are excellent choices for businesses. These printers allow companies to share resources, reduce costs by eliminating the need to purchase individual desktop printers for each office. But in order to maintain good working printers, operators need to ensure that the toner cartridges are changed regularly. When the print quality begins to fade, change the toner cartridge will restore the previous print quaity.

1 Open the toner cover and carefully lift the toner cartridge from the printer. Leave the toner cartridge aside for recycling.
2 Remove the new toner cartridge from its box and remove any packing material. HP makes these packaging materials orange or green in color making them easy to find. When unpacking the new toner cartridge, be sure to find the label of recycling, a prepaid label that lets you return the used cartridge for recycling.
3 Slide the new toner cartridge into the printer until it snaps into place. Close the toner cartridge. If the toner cartridge is not installed properly, the door will not close.
4 Send a print job to the printer and check print quality. If the paper is blank, remove the cartridge and make sure they have got rid of all packaging materials. The toner cartridges are shipped with protective tape in place to prevent toner from leaking during transport.
