Very limited stocks of the New Compatible Epson Daisy 18 XL for use with XP 102 202 205 302 305 405 ink jet printer cartridges are now available.
Even though it is technically possible to refill the Daisy 18 cartridges, there is no real point because they cannot be re-used, as the latest Epson printers will not accept them for a second time.
The new Daisy 18 and 18 XL ink cartridges use a new smart chip with a different configuration and programming code.
Something adding further confusion is the fact that some new Epson printers are shipping with starter cartridges which are not the number 18 Series? Older type T1281-4 cartridges are shipping inside the box with the new printers? It is our current understanding that the Fox cartridges being used as starter inks for these machines cannot be used again. The printer will only accept this type of cartridge at the beginning. We know this because we have had a few customers buy Fox inks from us by mistake thinking they could use them continually in these new machines.
