How to Reset the Ink Level in a Dell Printer,
Dell printers are cheap but the ink cartridges are not. One way to save money on refilling ink cartridges used ink cartridges or not to buy the Dell brand. The only problem is to reset the ink level program in the Dell. When filling an ink cartridge, Dell printer still thinks the cartridge is empty. And Dell ink cartridges brand do not contain the chip that tells the printer that a new cartridge is installed. There is a way to reset the ink level in the Dell printer.

Instructions
Resetting the ink level - ink cartridge Dell
1 Dell printer off, if you are on. Wait five seconds.
2 Turn the printer on Dell. A dialog box with the inscription "XXX XXX Dell printer" appears on the computer screen. The X represents the number of type and model of your Dell printer. If you do not get this dialog box, click the icon for the Dell printer control program is set to "Desktop" on your computer or select from the "All Programs" menu, if you use a Windows system, or from the "Finder" if using a Mac system
3 Situation in the dialog box of "full-A-Print." If there is a checkmark in the box next to the text, click the check mark to remove it. If there is a checkmark in the box, do nothing.
4 Click the box next to the text "Do not show this dialog again."
5 Click Continue Printing "to close the dialog box. You have now reset the ink level in the Dell.

2. Install SSC Service Utility and run the program
3. Model of printer configuration settings. Select the Epson Stylus Photo R230. After the play closed
   windows.

 4. In the lower right corner of the taskbar (near the clock) right click the icon SSC Service Utility, select
     " Protection Counter" click "Reset protection counter" select Yes on the pop up that asks
    "Have you  Replace waste ink pad"

 

5. Restart the printer, the printer is ok

Thats the steps I described to my friend, so she does not go back and forth to the printer lift handyman service to reset Epson R230. May be useful.

Reset MP390 Waste Ink Full Tank

The below reset procedure worked for me. I did not have to clean the waste-ink sponge. Many thanks to lp who originally posted it and to "Anonymous" who reposted it.

1)Printer on, press Additional Functions, Scan, Copy, Scan
Now you should be in service mode from there for waste ink tank reset

2)Select Test mode which is like the last avalabe selection
3)Select #8 Printer Test, it will do something here like cleaning or something then it will come up with some other option this is where it gets a bit confusing cause now all it says is like 8-2 or 8-3 push the + or - button until it says 8-3 then hit the select button

The menu will now say EEPRON Clear
Select Ink count which is option (0) and press set

Then press Stop/Reset Followed by the power button and then wait for it to restart.

How to reset T1281 T1284 refillable cartridges Apec Chip

If a refillable cartridge is not recognised by your Epson printer and it uses an Apec type chip, then you will need to manually reset it!  To do this just touch both the pins shown in the diagram at the same time with a small metal object.  This will reset the counter back to full again.

Hold down the left side of the issue and VALUE + / - keys
Turn the printer off and wait until RESET MAINTENANCE COUNT is displayed
then release the keys

Hold down Cancel Job and SELECT keys and turn the printer and wait until the screen goes blank and the LED of three let
Press the right side of the MENU key, then press the SELECT
You enter in service mode after the normal test complete

Press VALUE + / - to change to zero
Press SELECT to save
Click GO, the printer should return to READY

INK LEVEL RESET FOR HP Cartridges HP 22
Remove the cartridge from the printer.
Place a piece of tape over the contact to the upper left as shown in red in the photo at right.
With the tape covering the cartridge back into place contact the printer.
The printer will be held and the alignment page. (Some newer models no longer print page alignment. If the printer runs through a series of priming routines and stops for 20 seconds continue through to the next step)
Once an alignment page is printed remove cartridge from the printer.
Place a piece of tape over the second contact shown in red.
Place the cartridge into the printer with both pieces of tape. (One covering the first contact and cover the second contact.)
The printer will print another alignment page. (Some newer models no longer print page alignment. If the printer runs through a series of priming routines and stops for 20 seconds continue through to the next step.)
Once the second alignment page is printed remove cartridge from the printer.
Remove the pieces of tape cartridge contacts
Make sure that no residual adhesive on cartridge contacts.
Place the cartridge into the printer. Cartridge should now read full.

Note: This reset methode not only for HP21 and HP22 but can be used to cartidges HP HP 27, HP 28, HP 56, HP57, HP 58

A Guide to Install IIS Webserver on Windows 7

A couple of days before, I was assigned with a task to convert my organization’s static web site into the dynamic version. I had to use visual studio.net and SQL server on Windows 7 operating system for web development. It requires IIS, which is also known as Internet Information Server to run web applications; IIS is a web server, which facilitates the user to host the web application on PC.

I created a set of web pages on asp.net, but was unable to open them on my browser, as it was displaying an IIS error. Initially, it seemed frustrating, as it took a lot of time to design those great looking pages, which were not working on my system. I thought of consulting an online computer repair organization for the immediate resolution, and believe me, it worked! The issue was resolved within minutes. I really appreciate the quick response from that computer technical support organization, which quickly understood and resolved my system’s issue. So if some of you are facing this difficulty, here are the troubleshooting steps:

Step1: The first step will be to click on the “Windows” button, situated on the bottom left corner of your Window’s screen. And then click on control panel.

Step2: After that, click on “Programs” and under the feature namely “Programs and Features”, click “Turn windows features on or off”.

Step3: A list appears along with many services; check the options namely “Internet Information Services” and “Internet information Services Hostable Web Core”, and then click “ok” to complete the installation.

The above-mentioned steps can empower you to quickly install IIS on your system, without even consulting any online computer support technician.

I made this tutorial for your convenience and to resolve some problem in yahoo.com, YouTube, streaming and sometimes facebook, I hope this would resolve other issues regarding to this router problem and modem.

This is same with bridge type mode but since this model of router doesnt have an option for operation mode like the other router but let us assume that we will doing the bridge type mode.

So, lets get started!!

Just Follow the instruction below:

1. Plug in your RJ45 cable to your 2nd Lan port of your router then to your PC.

2. Open a browser and  type in address bar 192.168.10.1 then enter.

3. Log in to your router using [b]username:[/b]admin [b]password:[/b]admin. 

4. On setup menu click local network change your IP address to 192.168.1.254 and subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 then click apply changes, wait for a second to reboot.
Note: The next time you access your router you have to type in the new recently changed IP address for your router.

5. After you have done with the changes that I stated above, It should be look like this: See picture below:

Note: Please do not forget to disable the DHCP, click none and apply changes.

Now lets go to wan setup!
6. On Setup menu click internet setup and follow the settings below. See picture below:
Note: Must click the option: Mac from PC on Mac Clone and click apply changes.

Now for the Wireless Setup.
7. On Menu click Wireless and follow the setup on the picture and click apply changes.
See picture below:

8. On Wireless Menu click Wireless Security then input your desire Encryption and Pre-shared key and click apply changes, wait a second to reboot. See picture below:

9. After all we have done with the settings turn off the router for a moment. Now Plug in your Rj45 cable from your Bm622 wimax to Lan port1 of your router. It should look like this. See picture below:
Note: Just leave the wan port open since we are doing Bridge mode. Just stick to the plan dude!

10. Finally, fire up the Wimax modem as well your Wifi router. Open up a browser and check whether if you  have an Internet connection.

Note: Sometimes you have to restart your PC to work the settings as well the modem. For Instances you accidentally push the restart button on your router you have to this again, just follow the step from the start. Always do not forget your router default IP. 192.168.10.1(applicable for this router model )

How to stir fry pasta

Recipe for stir fried pasta:

What you need:
1 pip garlic, crushed or finely chopped
1 egg
500g pasta, shown above is conchiglie pasta (Shells)
Powdered Chicken stock (optional)
Dark soya sauce
Salt & Pepper

Method:
1. Pre-boil water in a pot, add 2tbsp of salt *optional.
2. When water is boiling, pour in pasta and stir the bottom every 1-2 minutes, to ensure pasta does not stick on the bottom of the pot.
3. Boil about 10-15minutes and check the package for suggested cooking time.
4. Take 1 piece of the pasta and bite through it to check if it is ready. When it is chewy but firm in the centre, it is ready. If it is hard to bite and if you see white in the centre of the pasta, that means you have to cook it a little longer.
5. Empty the pasta pot into a strainer. Shake out excess water.
6. Heat your wok with oil (any cooking oil will do), when oil is hot, put in chopped/crushed garlic, quickly stir as garlic gets burned fast. Stir for 10 -15seconds, add in egg and stir again. Once the eggs are halfway cooked, add in pasta and seasoning (dark soya sauce,chicken stock, salt& pepper). Add a bit of water if you wish to. Serve hot.
